Greetings from Provincetown and the Fine Arts Work Center! We hope this finds you safe and well.
As we continue to adapt to the changes of our coronavirus affected world, the Fine Arts Work Center staff has worked hard to create programming that will provide sustenance for our creative lives, while protecting the safety and well-being of all.
We welcome you to explore a wealth of inspiring and transformative options for Summer 2021, including virtual and in person visual arts workshops, virtual and asynchronous writing workshops, independent summer project residencies, print shop residencies, and an inspiring virtual series of conversations on the creative process. We look forward to welcoming you in person next year!

A great opportunity to safely escape the confined routines imposed by Covid-19 and re-energize your artistic projects. Independent residencies for writers and visual artists are available for a minimum two-week stay. Visual artists have the option to rent separate and private studio space with 24/7 access. Covid-safe protocols will be followed allowing you to engage deeply with your own creative projects while enjoying the beauty of a Provincetown summer. Residencies are open only to those who have previously participated as a Work Center 7-month Fellow, a Summer Program student or faculty, or as the recipient of another Work Center short-term residency.

For printmakers wanting to dive deep into their work with a one-week residency in our state-of-the-art Michael Mazur Print Studio. Residents will have full, private use of the print studio with 24/7 access. Optional on-site housing is also available.
