Boston Spring Benefit

On May 4th 2018, the Work Center will present an exhibition preview at the Mills Gallery at Boston Center for the Arts curated by Lori Bookstein.  The benefit opening reception will honor acclaimed painter Lisa Yuskavage .  The exhibition will feature works by Fine Arts Work Center Visual Fellows (1968-2018), many of whom have gone on to exhibit their work nationally and internationally, receiving critical acclaim.  This exhibition is part of The Visual Thread, a collection of exhibitions that illuminate the deep and layered connections of artists who lived and worked at the Fine Arts Work Center over the past 50 years.
Sip and savor cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at this festive affair. The exhibition preview and benefit reception includes general admission tickets; elevated tickets offer added premiums, including a gourmet post dinner.  Previous writers and visual artists saluted at this event include Nick Flynn, Robert Pinsky, John Murillo, Paul Harding, Roger Skillings, Pat de Groot and Gail Mazur.
