Poetry Fellow DAVID HUTCHESON grew up in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He received his MFA from Hunter College in 2014, and moved to Durham, NC the following year. His poetry has appeared in Ploughshares. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fiction Fellow GABRIEL LOUIS grew up in Washington, D.C., has attended the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshops, and received support from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Ragdale, and VCCA. He has a BA from Columbia University and an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a Chancellor's Fellow. His work has appeared in Subtropics, he is an associate fiction editor at Fence, and he has taught creative writing in juvenile detention facilities in New York City and D.C., where he edited a journal of student work.
