ABOUT THE PROGRAM

How much does a 24PearlStreet workshop cost?

Tuition for all classes is $500 with a $25 processing fee. If you have a special discount code, you can enter the code in the discount code field on the form when you register.

Are there deadlines for registering for 24PearlStreet's online workshops?

There are no deadlines for submission (aside from the class start date), but we encourage you to register early. We accept registrations on a rolling basis. Once the class is full, registration for the class is closed. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, you may register for a class that is already full. You will be notified if space becomes available.

How much time will I need to commit to my online class?

All our course work is designed for busy working folks, with no live component. 1-week intensives have deadlines and interactions every day, and some students choose to dedicate time away from work or other obligations to immerse themselves in the course. On the other hand, many students balance their normal routines with their coursework. It's entirely a matter of personal preference.

What's the difference between the 1, 4, and 8 week classes?

The biggest difference between 1-week intensives, 4-week workshops, and 8-week studios is the level of intensity. 1-week intensives have deadlines and interaction every day, and include a one-on-one component between you and the instructor after the class is over. The 4-week workshops have a few interactions and deadlines a week, and 8-week studios have a couple interactions and deadlines a week.

Does 24PearlSteet offer any scholarships?

Yes! For the first time, we're offering a limited number of scholarships. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. To apply, click here.

Does 24PearlSteet offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer discounts for returning 24PearlStreet students and Summer Program students. We also run seasonal promotions, which are advertised on our Facebook page and in our e-newsletters. If you are using a special discount code, please enter the code on the registration checkout page.

Can I set up a tuition payment plan?

Yes! We are happy to accomodate requests for payment plans. We require you to submit a non-refundable deposit and a schedule of payment. Click here to download a payment plan. 

What's your refund policy?

Payment is fully refundable up to two weeks prior to the workshop start date.  Registrations cancelled within two weeks of the workshop start date cannot be refunded. 

Do these courses qualify for Continuing Education Credits?

Yes! We are happy to provide a letter about your class that will help meet your requirements.


ACCESSING YOUR CLASS

When will I receive information about my online class?

You will receive an introductory email a few days before your class start date. This email contains a guide to using Blogger and guidelines for your course. On the Friday before your class begins, you will receive the link to your online classroom. This email will come from Blogger.com. If you do not receive an invitation, please check your spam folders, as advanced filters can sometimes trap mail from Blogger.

Can I read the guidelines ahead of time?

Absolutely! Click here for the general guidelines. 

How do I access my online class after I have accepted the invitation to the class blog?

The link contained within the initial email invitation to your online class will expire after you have accepted to be an author on the blog. After to accept the invitation, you can always access your online class by going to www.blogger.com. From here you can login using your Google username and password, and then you will be directed to your Dashboard where you will find the name of your online class.

How can I make sure I am seeing the most current version of my class blog?

Since your classmates will be posting and/or commenting frequently, be sure to refresh your browser window if you have been logged into Blogger for a few hours. . . or days!
